Tinplating on steel is a useful industrial process extensively used for food packaging. Cold-rolled annealed coated with tin gives the corrosion resistance property and beautiful luster. complex where rolled sheets are cleaned acid to remove rust, grease, or oil from surface. Pure electrodeposited this freshly prepared surface after electrodeposition of strip; becomes lustrous, color pure appears, finish called matte. Very often, flowing heat treatment just about melting point 232°C–265°C. After electrodeposition, deposits surface; however, chemical reaction between iron occurs during brightening treatment. This results in iron–tin intermetallic formation; their orientation grain structure substrate all have synergistic effect final properties tin-coated steel. In present study, an attempt has been made study parameter detail. A total five commercially produced tin-plated selected purpose, both coating thoroughly characterized by optical microscopy, scanning electron X-ray diffraction (XRD), crystallographic texture view; best result discussed paper. The different phases compound identified using XRD, X-ray, goniometer that find out observed presence FeSn 2 , FeSn, Sn coating; volume fraction these vary one sample another. variation may affect tinplating steel’s property, which can be studied future work.
